It was recently announced that the great, legendary, Levon Helm of The Band is losing his battle with cancer. In his honor, here is some amazing footage of The Band from the Syria Mosque here in Pittsburgh. 18 minutes of pure gold. One of the greatest singers in rock n roll history, and a hell of a drummer too.
Levon Helm is near death.
